The remnants of this east swell is hanging in there…just. South Bondi has a great righthand bank but the swell is lacking power as it declines further today. 3 foot sets, 1-2 foot most of the time. SW/SE 5/10 kts, tending SE/NE 10/15 kts during the afternoon, chance of a thunderstorm later as we hit 27 degrees (beach day for sure kids).
Great news…a new south groundswell is due to arrive on Sunday afternoon. With favourable North winds forecasted, Monday is looking the goods. Hang on…what’s this…on the 26th Feb (next Thursday) there is a solid North swell hitting (14 second period) with South winds. Don’t get too excited, that’s a long shot and the charts change several times before then.
