The swell we’ve all been waiting for has arrived – but so has the wind. South facing Bondi is squeezing every ounce out of this solid SE swell. Waves are breaking 5 foot + this morning…but it’s a pigsty. Flanking 15 knot southerly is disrupting surface quality.
Basically we need this wind to die, give the ocean half a day to settle and we should have some good conditions. Ok…so when you ask? Charts say onshore for days to come but I am sure if you keep a close eye on it there will be pockets of goodness.
High tide 11am, Low tide 5:30pm, a wintery max of 20 degrees, wind: S/SE 10/15 kts reaching 15/20 kts at times.
The shark attack victim from yesterday is a Bondi boy. Tragically looks like he’s lost his right hand and potentially a leg. Just unbelievable that this happened in the harbour so close to the city.
Have a great day ::uge
where is Wal? is he still bondi?
A very good question Geurs….a very good question. He’s fallen in love with a Avalon girl. So under the thumb that he spends all his time over there.
Thumbs up for the design touch of the rough edges on the photos…
haha it happens to us all… at least Av has waves.

Do you know of a virtual Bondi lost and found? Could be civil society service for Aquabumpees
Aquadump!
I rescued a new pair of size 6-8 (grommie size) Hydrofinz Sunday night on the high tide mark about to go to sea.
