Hey Happy New Year!…may 2008 bring you another year of good waves. I don’t normally kick off Aquabumps until the second week of Jan but we’ve got a big NE swell hitting NSW at the moment, generated from a intense low hanging around Queensland. It’s quite spectacular – I hear most Sydney beaches are closed for swimmers. Yesterday seemed to be the peak of it…exposed beaches 8 foot plus. We surfed a beach well out of town, that’s normally a boat ramp and dead flat 364 days a year. Smaller today but something brewing for the weekend…later:uge
