*winterflashbacks
As we settle in for a week of winter flashbacks, the persistent onshores continue to degrade the 3-foot waves we’ve currently got down at Bondi. Bondi actually ain’t too bad with a SSE winds/SE swell combo. It’s rideable all right. Can do turns. No crowds. But it ain’t that pretty and breaking quite random (not to mention fat). Winds are 18-23 knots and the water ain’t no Fijian offshore reef that’s for sure. Skanky rainwater runoff is providing a nice brown slick in the south end. MMM nice. It looks like it will be onshore until Saturday but the swell picks up quite a bit on Thursday (5 foot) – so maybe a protected corner will put something on for us::ugios south de border
