Brrrrr. Looking out the car window I saw some decent chunks rockin’ into Bondi with only a couple of lone wolves sampling the lefts in the corner. Some sets are up around 4 foot with the standard Bondi chubbiness.

This grey cold weather ain’t doing much for us though. SMH reports that it’s the coldest November day in a century. (Minimum of 8.3 degrees this morning). Freaky, what next? Snow?

Swell around 2 metres from the south with short period of 7-9. S/SW 20/30 kts, reaching 30/35 kts. Thunderstorms. Land Min: 10°C Max: 15°C. High tide 6am, low tide 12pm, high 6pm. Smaller tomorrow but still 3 foot and SW winds early.

SiLLy Season*
This time of year is always fun – silly season was kicked off with a Melbourne cup bang last week. Charles the flamboyant Scotsman, who has been lingering around Sydney, is having a big party tonight. If you’re keen to go have a shot at emailing him for an invitation – tartanrain@gmail.com – I think numbers are pretty tight…so best of luck.

Bondi Supabank* – meeting with council tonight 6pm
Bondi is famous for closing out. Local crew are meeting with council at 6pm tonight to discuss the possibilities of a new reef. The proposed reef is not really artificial in the true sense of the word; the concept is to use the existing sandstone boulders in ‘the boot’ area to form a more natural reef. Show your support for this concept by rockin up at council chambers at 6pm, Bondi Road and Paul Street, Bondi Junction. More info Rob 0405 140 973

Cheers, ::uge (had trouble getting surfing shots in the rain!)
