Black is back baby. Under a blanket of morning cloud we’ve got surfable but messy waves down at Bondi. Yesterday’s cooling weak south change brought some new wind swell, but the early direct onshore easterlies weren’t let much quality come through. You’d score waves up to head height with the majority smaller. Ok is more like wind chop on steroids, but the odd one threw a lip or had a beltable pocket. Water cool 19, Wind from ENE, on 21 today (27 tomoz), high tide 10am, low 4:30pm.
DAMO the MYTH buster::by Damion Fuller
Yesterday the Aquabumps team chartered a seaplane and took to the air to bust some myths about secret Sydney surf spots. Fueled by the rediscovery of breaks such as "Ours" at Cape Solander near Kurnell and "Deadman’s" outside Fairy Bower in Manly we went in search of "Blue Fish Point" the legendary right hand reef break near the North Head Sewage treatment works. The story goes that it is accessible only by boat and is extremely sharky due to the fish feeding on the effluent. Sadly no surfable reef was found and we are calling this myth BUSTED::Damo
