Today’s guest reporter is Gezza Blake, ex-Tracks
Mag, Quikie + now a mad man with a hose (fireman):
Warning: Think twice about visiting
Uge at his swank little Aquabumps store in North Bondi. You may
just get roped into writing one of his daily reports like I did
this morning. Normally I would say no but after seeing his head
after the big weekend he had I felt sorry for the creepy little
voyeur.
Wave wise you could almost say Bondi was cranking
this morning. A few aqua chunks were marching into Bondi and surprisingly
the high tide banks were handling the barrage. There’s a nice
little peak towards the middle of the beach serving up a few left
and right reforms. Swells about 4 foot. Just checked with Nostradamus
(uge) and he reckons this is the peak of the swell. Swells coming
from the south, winds are NW swinging NE and the max temp is 25
degrees. High tide 6am, low tide 11.20am.
Whilst the swells not hanging around – should be half
the size by the morrow – the succulent weather is here to stay.
Tomorrow’s forecast is 27, Wednesday 29, Thursday 27 and Friday
is even hitting the low 30s. The perfect prescription for leaving
the house, heading down the beach and getting into your favourite
pair of boardies, bikini’s, sluggoes, or even a crocheted g-banger
if that rocks your boat. gez
