Bondi 7am – junky waist to shoulder
high
After a winter’s day yesterday, we’ve now got sunshine and clearing skies.
The 2 days worth of howling southerlies have stirred up some swell which
peaked last night before dropping considerably for the early this morning.
Onshore SE wind of 15 knots mashing any quality rolling
into Bondi…so you would really have to be keen.
The
winds will swing to the E/NE 10/15 knots later this afternoon
with a mild maximum land temp of 25 degrees. Don’t think
there will be much left tomorrow, hopefully the NE winds over the next
few days will whip up some new swell similar to last weekend’s joy. (unlikely
– but pray anyway).
You may have read in the papers yesterday (or on TV), Waverley
council wants to ban cameras on Bondi beach due to perverts taking
pictures of nippers getting changed at the SLSCs. Quite a ridiculous solution.
Banning cameras where kids get changed – fair enough. But on Bondi? Hard
to enforced with 50,000 people on a hot day…
